A visit to the shadow world

Photo number 1000!

I have now published 1,000 photos here and at PhotoBlog (a highly recommended site that works very well) with one or more photos per day, starting 22/10 2006 with these photos of a Praying Mantis! The reason I made a photoblog was actually just to have something that kept me focused on photography. As you may have guessed, it did!

The only problem with a blog is that many of the small resized photos lose the qualities the much larger original had, but that can't be helped.
