Red-eared Sliders (2)

We met quite a lot of small turtles sitting in the sun.
The top one was as small as those you see in pet shops (a few centimetres across) and the only one that wasn't very shy! The rest were medium sized. They dived into the water as soon as they saw me. We saw no large ones.

All taken with the equivalent of 584mm tele (35mm film). Olympus' image stabilization works very, very well!

Ginger

Our favourite stray cat. He is too good to be living in the wild. Always friendly and nice - Well, he should be as we feed him. :)

La Hoz

I received my Ricoh gx100 yesterday and went immidiately out to test it. This is the oldest street in Oliva, very much in Moorish style with these small patios in front of each house. Donkeys would in the so-called "good old days" have been being walked up this street after work to spend the night with the family. The houses must have had an interesting odeur!
